Increasingly, manufacturers wish to incorporate fragrance in their plastic products such as bin liners, toys, air fresheners and dental products.  The fragrances enhance product acceptability and consumer appeal and include masking unpleasant smells (e.g. in garbage disposal bags and bin liners).  Some scents have highly specific applications, such as animal repellants, which find application in garbage disposal bags and garden accessories.

EPRON manufactures a wide range of fragrant masterbatches suitable for use in many polyolefine and other plastic formulations. We routinely supply tonnage quantities but small orders present no problem.

How to use the masterbatch

The masterbatch is normally supplied in the form of granules, packed in lots of 25kg in tough, multi layered polyethylene bags. You blend the masterbatch with your base polymer at a level to give the desired intensity of fragrance. We can provide technical information for specific applications on request.
